Paprika 85 ASTA
Also known as Pacific Beauty, our Paprika 85 Asta is a nautural red color that will provide a mild heat to support other spices or flavors. It is grown in New Mexico, Texas and Arizona. Beginning with our proprietary seeds that are planted by our agricultural ops team, then it’s cultivated by our farmers who work alongside Olam’s crop managers until the chilies are ready to be harvested.
Once we harvest the peppers, it is taken to our facility in Las Cruces, New Mexico to be processed by our operations team, with constant food quality checks throughout the entire process. From here, the paprika is stored in Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP) and kept in cold storage before it is shipped to our customers around the world.
