Origin
Dill weed can be found in the Mediterranean and western Asia, though earliest records indicate this herb was first discovered in Egypt 5,000 years ago.
Application
Dill spice is used in a number of dishes to add its citrus flavor. You’ll find it often pairs best with salmon, potatoes, lamb, salad, and yogurt-based recipes. It is also used in sauces, marinades, and salad dressings and as a topping for baked breads.
