About Organic Granulated Onion
ofi Spices’ organic US white onions are grown in California’s San Joaquin Valley, using California Certified Organic Farmers (CCOF) organic growing and processing methods. These white onions are grown by our growers, who partner with our crop managers to oversee the crop during cultivation. The seeds are planted by our agricultural ops team, who also return to the field to harvest the onions once they’re fully developed. Then they are delivered to one of our four processing facilities in the Western United States.
Here, the onions are dried and ground to the consistency of table salt. Granulated onions are great for building fresh onion flavor in all-organic applications like dressings, marinades and sauces. This product is CCOF certified and brought to you by AtSource, ofi’s sustainable sourcing solution.
